Assist the Store Keeper in managing, receiving, storing, and issuing construction materials, tools, and equipment while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for quality and quantity.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse/store in an orderly manner.
Issue materials to site teams based on requisitions and maintain accurate records.
Update inventory logs and assist with periodic stock counts.
Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the Store Keeper or supervisor.
Assist in preparing delivery, transfer, and stock-related documentation.
Ensure safe storage practices and maintain cleanliness of the warehouse.
Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and other departments as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Store Keeper Assistant in construction or similar industry.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
Ability to handle warehouse equipment (forklift/pallet jack) is an advantage.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Basic computer literacy (MS Excel / inventory software).
Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
High school diploma or equivalent.
