Storekeeper & Admin – Farm Operations

Job Description

We are looking for a

physically fit and well-organized Storekeeper & Admin

to manage farm inventory, documentation, and labor allocation. This role requires a strong combination of

hands-on physical work

and

accurate system record-keeping

. The Storekeeper will lead offloading, loading, and movement of materials/plants, maintain precise inventory records, and oversee labor tasks related to store and farm operations.

Key Responsibilities:



Physical & Operational Duties



Lead and participate in offloading containers, trucks, and deliveries of plants, materials, and supplies Carry out loading of outbound trucks for deliveries Physically shift plants, equipment, and materials between farm sections as required Ensure safe handling and proper placement of stock, especially delicate plants Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other handling equipment (if licensed/trained) Supervise and coordinate labor teams during heavy loading/unloading tasks

Inventory & Store Control



Receive, check, and record deliveries against purchase orders (GRN - Goods Receipt Note) Organize and label items in designated storage areas for easy identification Issue items based on approved requests and record all stock movements in the system and/or stock cards Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system data Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization in store and storage areas

Documentation & Admin



Prepare and maintain GRNs, delivery notes, issue forms, and other stock documentation Update inventory records in MS Excel or ERP system accurately and on time Maintain purchase requests, stock reports, and filing of all store-related documents Prepare daily/weekly stock and movement reports for management review

Labor Management Support



Assign tasks to laborers during store or farm operations and monitor productivity Maintain labor attendance and overtime records for store and logistics activities Coordinate with HR/admin for manpower requirements, leave schedules, and replacements

Requirements



High school diploma or equivalent; certificate in storekeeping/logistics is a plus Minimum 2-3 years' experience in store operations, preferably in a farm, nursery, landscaping, or construction environment

Physically fit

and able to lift/move heavy items and work in outdoor conditions Experience with plant handling is an advantage Computer literacy (Excel and inventory systems) Good communication skills (English; Hindi/Urdu preferred for labor supervision) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Honest, dependable, and able to work with minimal supervision
