As a Purchase & Store Officer, your main job is to manage the procurement of goods, oversee inventory and store operations, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, and ensure timely availability of materials required for daily operations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

You will be responsible for sourcing food ingredients, packaging materials, and kitchen supplies from approved and reliable vendors. You shall evaluate supplier performance, negotiate prices and delivery timelines, and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality and consistency. You will plan and execute procurement based on daily kitchen production schedules, event requirements, and stock availability. You must raise accurate purchase orders, verify supplier invoices, and ensure timely deliveries in line with catering demands. You will coordinate with chefs, kitchen supervisors, and operations teams to anticipate material needs and avoid shortages. You will receive, inspect, and store perishable and non-perishable items as per food safety and hygiene standards. You are responsible for maintaining accurate stock records using inventory management software or manual logs. You must implement proper inventory control methods (e.g., FIFO) to minimize waste and manage expiry-sensitive stock. You will monitor stock levels regularly and initiate timely replenishment to avoid disruption in kitchen operations. You are expected to conduct routine stock audits, report discrepancies, and maintain accountability for all stored items. You must ensure that storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. You will prepare and submit regular reports on purchasing activity, stock status, and cost efficiency to the management.
