Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Store Manager - Inventory Manager to oversee the inventory management operations of our store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient stock replenishment processes. Additionally, the Store Manager - Inventory Manager will play a crucial role in analyzing sales trends, forecasting demand, and implementing strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock situations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and suppliers. Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, and tracking inventory levels. - Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies. - Monitor inventory levels and product demand to optimize stock levels and minimize excess inventory. - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues related to inventory orders. - Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly. - Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. - Train and supervise inventory staff to ensure proper handling of inventory and adherence to procedures. - Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to develop inventory strategies aligned with overall business objectives. - Utilize inventory management software and tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency. - Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and generate reports for management review. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. - Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment. - Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. - Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments. - Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications. - Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise a team. - Knowledge of inventory control best practices and industry trends.
