The Storekeeper is responsible for managing, receiving, storing, and issuing machinery spare parts efficiently. They maintain accurate inventory records, ensure proper storage, and coordinate with the maintenance and procurement teams to support smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate records of all spare parts, tools, and consumables. Conduct regular stock checks and audits to prevent shortages or overstocking. Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and LIFO (Last-In-First-Out) methods as required.

Receiving & Issuing:

Receive and inspect incoming spare parts for quality and quantity compliance. Properly label and store items in designated locations. Issue spare parts and tools as per maintenance or production team requests. Maintain logs and documentation of issued and received items.

Storage & Organization:

Ensure all parts are stored properly to prevent damage, corrosion, or misplacement. Maintain a clean and organized store environment. Categorize parts according to type, size, and frequency of use for easy access.

Coordination & Reporting:

Work closely with procurement and maintenance teams to ensure availability of critical spare parts. Provide periodic inventory reports to management. Suggest reordering of essential spare parts to avoid shortages. Handle supplier returns and replacements when necessary.

Requirements: Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; a diploma in inventory management or supply chain is a plus. 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setup. Knowledge of spare parts for heavy machinery or industrial equipment is an advantage.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
