Store Keeper

Job Description

Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing inventory, including tracking stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.

Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of products, and recording discrepancies.

Ensure proper storage and organization of goods to prevent damage, spoilage, or loss, following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and other relevant storage methods.

Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to customers or internal departments.

Conduct regular quality checks on stored items to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.

Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including invoices, receipts, and requisitions.

Monitor expiration dates and perform regular rotation of perishable goods to minimize waste.

Coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues related to orders, delivery schedules, and quality concerns.

Implement security measures to safeguard the stores inventory and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Generate and present periodic reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and any relevant key performance indicators to management.
