Overview: As a Store keeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store and ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Your primary objective will be to maintain inventory levels, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold the company\'s standards. You will collaborate with various departments to achieve sales targets, optimize store performance, and enhance customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service Excellence: Set a high standard for customer service and ensure that all store staff deliver a positive and memorable shopping experience. Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Store Operations: Oversee day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the store\'s cleanliness and organization. Receiving and Inspection: Upon receiving deliveries, the storekeeper inspects goods for quality, quantity, and any damages. They verify orders against delivery notes or purchase orders. Storage and Organization: They ensure efficient and organized storage of materials or products, arranging items in designated areas based on type, size, or other categorizations for easy access and retrieval. Issuing Materials: As production requires materials, the storekeeper issues the necessary items, ensuring that proper protocols and documentation are followed for accountability. Inventory Control and Replenishment: Regularly conducting inventory checks to assess stock levels, they reorder materials as needed to prevent shortages or overstock situations, collaborating with procurement or purchasing teams. Supplier Coordination: Interacting with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, resolve discrepancies in orders, negotiate terms, and maintain positive relationships to guarantee a smooth supply chain. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of inventory, transactions, and supplier information is essential for tracking stock movements, financial records, and compliance purposes. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for both employees and customers.
Address any safety concerns promptly and implement necessary measures. Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance, sales, and customer feedback to the Store Manager.
Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and other stakeholders regarding store operations and updates. Suggest and implement measures to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications in retail management are a plus).
• Proven experience in a retail environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
