to join our retail procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality products that meet the company's standards and customer demands in a fast-paced supermarket or hypermarket environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the end-to-end buying process for assigned product categories.
Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure optimal stock availability.
Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competitor pricing.
Coordinate with internal departments including operations, merchandising, and finance.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and standards.
Develop strong vendor relationships and evaluate supplier performance regularly.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in
local procurement or purchasing
within the
retail industry
(preferably Supermarket / Hypermarket).
Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and inventory management systems.
GCC experience preferred.
Age Limit:
25-36 years.
