The Stock Auditor is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all inventory records within Nbox Logistics' warehouse operations. The role involves conducting physical stock audits, verifying system data against actual counts, identifying variances, and ensuring timely corrective action. This position plays a key role in sustaining precise inventory levels and supporting the overall efficiency of 3PL warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Stock Audit & Verification
Conduct scheduled cycle counts, random checks, and full stock audits.
Verify physical stock quantities against the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and client records.
Investigate discrepancies such as GRN errors, putaway mismatches, or picking issues, and recommend corrective measures.
Validate SKU details, including batch or lot numbers, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
2. Data Reconciliation & Reporting
Reconcile inventory differences between physical and system stock daily or as required.
Prepare detailed audit reports outlining discrepancies and corrective actions.
Submit daily, weekly, or monthly audit summaries to the Inventory Controller or Warehouse Manager.
Support client reconciliations and month-end closing reports.
3. Process Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all inbound, storage, and outbound transactions are accurately recorded in the WMS.
Audit GRN, put away, and dispatch documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Verify labeling, bin location mapping, and SKU master data consistency.
Maintain organized audit files for internal and client reference.
4. Coordination & Communication
Work closely with Inbound, Put away, Picking, Dispatch, and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies.
Coordinate with Client Service and WMS Support teams for data validation or correction.
Provide feedback on operational process gaps and assist in implementing preventive measures.
5. Inventory Control & System Management
Ensure adherence to FIFO and FEFO principles during stock movement.
Verify bin accuracy, pallet IDs, and WMS mapping for all storage areas.
Support periodic cycle counts and annual physical verification with clients or auditors.
Monitor and report on slow-moving, non-moving, and short-expiry stock.
6. Safety & Housekeeping
Conduct audit activities in compliance with warehouse safety standards.
Report any unsafe practices or irregularities found during audits.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within audit and verification area
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
10+2; Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain preferred.
Experience:
1-3 years of GCC experience in warehouse inventory control or stock auditing, preferably in a 3PL logistics setup.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in WMS or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Infor, etc.)
Strong understanding of inventory workflows and documentation (GRN, dispatch, etc.)
Basic Excel skills and ability to generate reports
