Job Description

Stewarding Supervisor oversees the cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of a labor camp or similar facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and healthy environment for residents. Here's a detailed job description:

Key Responsibilities

1. Cleaning and Maintenance: Supervises the cleaning and maintenance of food facilities, including kitchens & dining areas.

2. Housekeeping Operations: Oversees housekeeping operations, ensuring that rooms, common areas, and facilities are clean and well-maintained.

3. Waste Management: Ensures proper waste disposal and recycling, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

4. Pest Control and Hygiene: Implements pest control measures and maintains high standards of hygiene, ensuring a healthy environment for residents.

5. Inventory Management: Maintains accurate records of cleaning supplies, equipment, and other necessary items.

6. Team Supervision: Trains, motivates, and disciplines stewarding staff, ensuring they follow procedures and meet performance standards.

7. Quality Control: Conducts regular quality checks to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Requirements and Skills

1. Housekeeping or Cleaning Experience: Proven experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or a related field.

2. Supervisory Skills: Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and train staff.

3. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
