As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and lead the stewarding team to ensure the cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas.
• Schedule, assign tasks, and manage the workflow of stewarding staff to maintain optimal efficiency.
• Train stewards on proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and equipment operation.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant staff to support seamless operations during service hours.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, making timely orders as needed.
• Handle and resolve conflicts or issues within the stewarding team promptly.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
• Prepare and submit reports on stewarding activities, cleanliness audits, and staff performance.
  • Preferable candidates with Pre-Opening and Cluster Hotel Operations experience

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Stewarding Supervisor in a hotel or hospitality setting.
• In-depth knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with kitchen and restaurant staff.
• Conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle interpersonal issues within the team.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to kitchen and dining areas.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting purposes.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all operational areas.
