DESIGNATION: Head of Sales Sections Steel

REPORTING AUTHORITY: Chief Commercial Officer

LOCATION: Dubai,UAE

DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing

Scope

Leading the sales team in meeting the sales targets for selling section steel products to clients to various markets. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The Head of Sales Sections Steel will also collaborate with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction, monitor market trends, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the company.

Dimensions of the job:

Duties are carried out for the company and all its subsidiaries, associated and connected entities.

Key accountabilities, role and responsibilities

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Meet the sales targets for sections steel in various markets.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales goals and objectives.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Identify new business opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Lead, motivate, and manage the section steel sales team to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team targets.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Provide guidance, training, and support to sales staff to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with products and services.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Prepare regular sales reports for management, detailing achievements, challenges, and future strategies.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and threats, adjusting sales strategies accordingly.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Stay updated on product specifications, features, and applications to effectively communicate with clients and address their requirements.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Provide product training to the sales team to enhance their understanding and sales pitch.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Collaborate with the finance department to set and manage the sales budget effectively.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Ensure the sales team operates within budgetary constraints while achieving targets.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Stay updated on regulatory changes that may impact the organization.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Collaborate with management to implement recommended process improvements, Monitor,

and track the progress of corrective actions.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Ensure to get after sales feedback from customers and communicate with internal

stakeholders to improve product / service quality.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Participate in quality assurance reviews to maintain audit standards.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Stay current with best practices in internal auditing.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 All ad hoc tasks and projects designated by the reporting authority.

Essential knowledge and skills

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Proven experience in Sales of Light and Medium Section Steel (IPEA/AA, HEA/HEB (DIN) & H BEAM (JIS), UB/UC (BSEN), UPN / UPE (DIN) & JIS CHANNEL

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Computer literacy including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word,PowerPoint)

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience of using SAP systems

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent time management; planning and organization skills

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Ability to create a work environment that embraces, appreciates, and fosters diversity.

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Reliable, efficient, and effective with high level of integrity

Desirable knowledge and skills

\xe2\x9e\xa2 At least 10-12 years industry\xe2\x80\x99s experience

Qualifications

\xe2\x9e\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field Or Bachelor or Masters in Engineering in Mechanical or Metallurgy.
