Steel Rebar Factory Manager & Senior Detailer

Job Title: Steel Rebar Factory Manager & Senior Detailer Location: Jebel Ali Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to lead and manage our steel rebar manufacturing operations. As the Factory Manager and Senior Detailer, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and managing a team of dedicated workers. In addition to managerial duties, you will contribute your expertise in detailing by preparing accurate and precise shop drawings and reinforcing bar (rebar) schedules to meet project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Factory Management:

Oversee daily operations of the rebar manufacturing facility to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met. Develop and implement operational policies, production schedules, and workflow plans to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance and repairs to avoid disruptions. Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely procurement and delivery. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Lead, train, and mentor a team of workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Track key performance metrics and prepare detailed operational reports for senior management. Senior Detailing:

Review project specifications, architectural and structural drawings, and identify rebar requirements. Create accurate and detailed shop drawings and bar bending schedules using software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, or RebarCAD. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve discrepancies and ensure drawings meet project needs. Conduct quality checks on detailing work to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes. Stay updated on industry advancements, software updates, and best practices in rebar detailing. Qualifications: Education:

BacheloraEUR(TM)s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus. Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years of experience in rebar detailing, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within a steel manufacturing environment. Proven expertise in interpreting construction drawings and creating accurate shop drawings. Technical Skills:

Proficiency in rebar detailing software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, or RebarCAD. Strong knowledge of rebar specifications, construction codes, and industry standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI). Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment used in rebar production. Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
