Sr. Rotary Engineer
Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity to provide all aspects of rotating equipment engineering/technical support and assistance to offshore team
Your main duties will be to:
a) To act in the capacity of Maintenance Manager during the absence of UA Maintenance Manager to ensure all the activities of the Field are executed in a safe manner and in compliance with routine & emergency procedures.
b) Prepare Annual & long term plans for mechanical repair, overhaul, corrosion prevention, painting and maintenance of a wide variety of plant and equipment. Ensure that work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company standards, codes and practices.
c) Diagnoses faults or malfunctioning equipment, inform UA Managers and carries out repair or maintenance tasks as required.
d) Develop preventive and routine maintenance schedules, ensuring that all maintenance is carried out during planned shutdowns and that all standby units are fully operational.
e) Review work orders and determine maintenance and repairs priorities in consultation with related sections. Prepares detailed work program of preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment, in conjunction with other sections and units in UA Field.
f) Supervise the activities of assigned technicians in mechanical maintenance unit according to Company maintenance procedures and schedules, and ensures that work objectives and program are implemented.
g) Monitor stock level of spare parts, tools and materials at CPC and WHPs and initiates requisitions to material section in Abu Dhabi. Follow up on requisitions to ensure timely delivery. Recommend changes to stock level depending on work requirements. Initiate all materials and spare parts requisitions.
h) Ensure that records in MAXIMO are adequately maintained for all normal breakdown and overhaul maintenance carried out in the section. Prepare daily and monthly work progress reports.
i) Produce specialized reports, as required, such as recommendations for improvement of maintenance procedures, modification to plant and equipment. Evaluation of contractorsaEUR(TM) visit reports.
Ideally you will have graduated in Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 10 years of work experience related maintenance of rotating & static equipment in offshore oil & gas industry.
Good practical knowledge of gas turbine engine and conventional mechanical facilities and fluent in English.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ideally you will have graduated in Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with minimum 10 years of work experience related maintenance of rotating & static equipment in offshore oil & gas industry.
Good practical knowledge of gas turbine engine and conventional mechanical facilities and fluent in English.
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
