to manage cost control, budgeting, and commercial aspects of aluminum and facade projects from pre-contract through final accounts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in facade systems, contracts, and cost management within the UAE construction market.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing for aluminum and facade works
Manage project budgets, cost planning, and cost reporting throughout the project lifecycle
Handle pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate commercial terms
Prepare and certify interim valuations, progress claims, variations, and final accounts
Monitor project costs and identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and design teams for cost control
Manage contract administration in line with FIDIC or relevant contract forms
Prepare financial reports and cash flow forecasts
Support claims, counterclaims, and dispute resolution when required
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
Minimum
8-12 years
of experience in aluminum and facade works
Strong knowledge of curtain wall, cladding, glazing, and facade systems
Proven experience in UAE/GCC construction projects
Excellent understanding of FIDIC contracts and local commercial practices
Proficient in MS Excel, cost control software, and ERP systems
Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with design-build and fast-track facade projects
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
