Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Aluminum & Facade

to oversee cost management, contract administration, and commercial control of facade and aluminum projects. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in facade systems, tendering, and project cost control within the UAE construction sector. This role requires excellent analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire quantity surveying and commercial aspects of aluminum and facade projects. Prepare and review

BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents

for facade systems (curtain walls, ACP cladding, structural glazing, louvers, skylights, etc.). Evaluate subcontractor quotations, analyze pricing, and prepare cost comparisons. Administer contracts, including preparation of contractual correspondence, claims, and variations. Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost reports to ensure effective financial control. Conduct quantity take-offs and validate material requirements in coordination with design and procurement teams. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure alignment between commercial and project objectives. Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts. Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for cost savings and value engineering. Ensure compliance with company policies, contract conditions, and UAE construction regulations.
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field

.

7-10 years of QS experience

in the UAE, with at least

5 years in aluminum and facade projects

. Strong knowledge of facade systems (unitized, stick, curtain walls, ACP, glazing, etc.). Proven experience in tendering, estimation, contract administration, and cost management. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS/estimation software. Excellent negotiation, reporting, and analytical skills. Strong understanding of FIDIC and UAE construction contracts. Ability to work independently and lead a team of junior QS staff.
