Key Responsibilities
Pre-Contract Phase
Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for aluminum and facade projects.
Tendering & Bidding:
Lead tender preparation, review bids, and recommend suitable contractors and suppliers.
Contractual Review:
Analyze contract documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance. Provide recommendations for value engineering and cost optimization.
Risk & Opportunity Analysis:
Identify risks and opportunities during project planning and advise on mitigation strategies.
Procurement Management:
Support procurement in evaluating suppliers, negotiating terms, and securing cost-effective materials and services.
Post-Contract Phase
Cost Control & Monitoring:
Track and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial forecasts.
Variations & Change Orders:
Manage, evaluate, and document variations and ensure proper valuation per contract terms.
Payment Applications & Certifications:
Review and certify payment applications in compliance with contractual requirements.
Final Accounts:
Prepare and close final accounts, resolving claims and liabilities.
Dispute Resolution:
Address contractual disputes and recommend fair, contract-compliant solutions.
Client & Stakeholder Liaison:
Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, and contractors for seamless project delivery.
Contract Administration & Compliance
Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations at pre- and post-contract stages.
Review, advise, and negotiate contract terms in line with company policies and industry standards.
Assist in the preparation and execution of contracts, subcontracts, and agreements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Certifications:
Professional accreditation (MRICS, RICS, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience:
5-15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with strong exposure to both pre-contract and post-contract roles.
Proven track record in
Aluminum and Facade projects
.
Solid knowledge of facade systems, materials, and industry-specific challenges.
Strong understanding of standard construction contracts (FIDIC, NEC, etc.).
Experience in managing large-scale facade and aluminum projects, covering cost control and contract management.
