Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)

specializing in

Aluminum and Facade systems

to lead cost management, contract administration, and commercial control across facade projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in tendering, estimation, and cost control within the UAE construction industry. This role demands strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills to ensure projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and in full contractual compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all quantity surveying and commercial activities for aluminum and facade projects. Prepare and review

BOQs

,

cost estimates

, and

tender documents

for facade systems, including curtain walls, ACP cladding, structural glazing, louvers, and skylights. Evaluate subcontractor quotations, analyze pricing structures, and prepare detailed cost comparisons. Administer contracts, including preparation of contractual correspondence, claims, and variation orders. Monitor project budgets, cash flow, and cost reports to maintain effective financial control. Perform quantity take-offs and verify material requirements in coordination with design and procurement teams. Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective project outcomes. Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to align commercial goals with project execution. Prepare interim valuations, progress payment applications, and final account statements. Identify commercial risks and propose strategies for cost optimization and value engineering. Ensure full compliance with company policies, contract terms, and

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying

,

Civil Engineering

, or a related discipline.

7-10 years

of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the UAE, with

at least 5 years

in aluminum and facade projects. In-depth knowledge of facade systems (unitized, stick, curtain walls, ACP, glazing, etc.). Proven track record in

tendering, estimation, contract administration,

and

cost management

. Proficient in

MS Excel

,

AutoCAD

, and relevant QS/estimation software. Strong

negotiation, analytical,

and

reporting

skills. Solid understanding of

FIDIC

and

UAE construction contracts

. Ability to work independently and lead a team of junior QS professionals.
