Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS) - Aluminum & Facade

to handle cost control, tendering, and contract administration for facade and aluminum works. The ideal candidate must possess strong experience in facade systems and commercial management within the UAE construction sector, with proven ability to ensure cost efficiency and contractual compliance while supporting successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all quantity surveying and commercial functions related to aluminum & facade projects. Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents for facade systems (curtain wall, ACP cladding, structural glazing, louvers, skylights, etc.). Analyze subcontractor quotations, prepare cost comparisons, and recommend awards. Administer contracts, including management of correspondence, variations, claims, and contractual notices. Monitor budgets, cash flow, and cost reports to maintain financial control. Conduct quantity take-offs and validate material requirements with design and procurement teams. Negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and value engineering solutions. Coordinate with project managers and site teams to align commercial strategy with execution. Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts. Identify commercial risks and propose cost-saving or value engineering measures. Ensure adherence to company policies, contract terms, and UAE construction regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

7-10 years

of relevant QS experience in the UAE, including

minimum 5 years in aluminum & facade works

. Strong technical knowledge of facade systems (unitized, stick, curtain wall, ACP, glazing, etc.). Proven expertise in estimation, tendering, contract administration, and project cost control. Advanced proficiency in

MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS/estimation software

. Sound knowledge of

FIDIC and UAE contract practices

. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills. Ability to work independently and lead junior QS staff.
