Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive

Senior QA/QC Engineer - Aluminum & Facade

to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities across both factory and site operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in facade systems and extensive experience in implementing quality standards, conducting inspections, and coordinating with consultants and clients. This role involves overseeing a QA/QC team, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and driving continuous improvement throughout all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, manage, and supervise all QA/QC activities for aluminum and facade works in both factory and site environments. Supervise, mentor, and train QA/QC inspectors to ensure consistent compliance with project specifications and company quality standards. Implement, monitor, and update QA/QC plans, procedures, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality control programs. Conduct inspections of materials, fabrication processes, and site installations to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry codes. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for approvals, inspections, and quality reviews. Review and approve IRs, MIRs, NCRs, and ensure timely closure of non-conformities through corrective and preventive actions. Evaluate and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals from a quality perspective. Ensure proper installation and quality compliance of facade systems such as

curtain walls, ACP cladding, unitized systems, structural glazing, louvers, and other architectural elements

. Maintain accurate and comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection logs, test reports, calibration records, and material traceability. Conduct internal audits and support external audits to ensure adherence to

ISO standards

and project-specific quality requirements. Identify quality issues and implement improvement initiatives across production and site operations. Provide technical support, guidance, and training to factory and site teams to improve workmanship and overall quality performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or diploma in

Civil Engineering, Architecture

, or a related discipline.

6-10 years

of QA/QC experience specifically in aluminum and facade projects, covering both factory and site operations. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing QA/QC personnel. In-depth knowledge of facade systems including

unitized, stick system, curtain wall, ACP, structural glazing, louvers

, and related components. Proven experience collaborating with consultants, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies. Excellent understanding of technical drawings, QA/QC procedures, inspection workflows, and document control practices. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with international testing standards for aluminum and glazing systems (ASTM, BS, EN, etc.). Practical experience with

ISO 9001

quality management systems and audit processes. Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and mentoring abilities.
