Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive

Senior QA/QC Engineer - Aluminum & Facade

to lead and oversee all quality assurance and control activities across both

factory and site operations

. The role involves managing a QA/QC team, implementing quality systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring all aluminum and facade works comply with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. The ideal candidate will be capable of guiding and training team members, maintaining documentation, and driving continuous quality improvement across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage QA/QC activities for aluminum and facade works at both factory and site. Supervise, mentor, and train QA/QC inspectors and team members to ensure adherence to company and project standards. Implement and monitor the approved QA/QC plan, procedures, and inspection programs. Conduct and review inspections of materials, fabrication, and installations to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, and codes. Coordinate with consultants, clients, and third-party inspectors for material and work approvals. Review and approve

; ensure timely resolution of non-conformities. Evaluate and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals for quality compliance. Ensure installation works (curtain walls, ACP cladding, structural glazing, louvers, etc.) meet design intent and quality requirements. Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, inspection logs, and testing records. Conduct internal audits and support external audits to maintain compliance with ISO and project quality systems. Initiate and drive quality improvement initiatives within both factory and site operations. Provide technical guidance and quality training to site and production teams.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.

Minimum 6-10 years

of progressive experience in QA/QC for aluminum and facade projects, including both factory and site exposure. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to train and develop QA/QC staff. In-depth knowledge of facade systems such as unitized, stick, curtain wall, ACP cladding, and structural glazing. Experience liaising with consultants, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies. Excellent understanding of technical drawings, quality procedures, and documentation control. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, communication, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with international testing standards for aluminum and glazing systems. Hands-on experience in ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and mentoring capabilities.
