A qualified Senior Marine surveyor with in hand experience in various marine survey projects having excellent leadership and managerial skills, to be based in our Sharjah office. The job role shall include but not limited to:
To Coordinate the loading and unloading of cargo process from ships and other forms of transit; responsible for identifying damage to the cargoes as they are loaded and/or unloaded.
Utilizes data from obtained field documents to prepare an inspection report, detailing results of inspection.
Liaison with Terminal & Warehouse personal for execution of inspections.
Responsible for performing/coordinating Loading, Discharge, Stock Verification, Sampling and Damage Inspections, verify that the samples are labeled with identifying product, location of sample, date, and time of collection.
Oversee performance of vessel draft surveys, barge surveys and product inspections of products, including dry/ liquid/ general bulk cargoes.
To able to carry out container damage inspections and be aware of reefer containers and their working.
Conduct/monitor vessel cargo hold condition surveys.
Carry out Bunker surveys, on hire, off hire as required.
Involve in Prepurchase, P&I, Hull &Machinery inspections as required.
Assure reports to clients in stand format.
Travel occasionally (if required).
Perform other assignments as required.
Note: Must possess a UAE Driving license. And minimum of 5+ years experience in the provided Job description. Package varies with experience and skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month Experience:
