Today, we deliver hundreds of millions of food orders, grocery items and other products per year, to our customers in nine countries throughout the region with more than 3,000+ employees! Role Summary

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Senior Manager Supply Chain to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store \xe2\x80\x9ctMart\xe2\x80\x9d, which is the region\xe2\x80\x99s first cloud store concept offering 30-minutedelivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

You will be responsible for the overall Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Operations, Demand Planning and Forecast and System implementation.

What\xe2\x80\x99s On Your Plate?

Set and define overall Supply Chain strategy and define standards guidelines for all the Supply chain aspects in all Countries of Region.

Work with respective Country Supply chain managers on guidelines and Supply chain strategy.

Ensure these guidelines are implemented across various functions in all countries.

Ensure that supply chain operations have supplier development strategies and provide guidance to supply chain teams on effective development techniques.

Review organization Supply Chain structures and staffing levels to ensure effective and cost-efficient support to business.

Identify Regional team capacity building opportunities and promote training and other development activities.

Work with respective country team to improve Forecasting accuracy and availability of SKUs in store.

Ensure effective season management across Darks Stores in the region (stock balancing, stock analysis, stock vs sales performance.

Review the assortment on a periodic basis with regional commercial team and country GMs to ensure profit is maximized and maintained to reach target levels.

Define and ensure excess category inventory is not maintained in DC or the stores and there is proper adherence to the concept/territory ageing policy.

Set the replenishment model from Supplier to DC to stores.

Responsible for optimizing the inventory in the DC and stores.

Define KPI and prepare the various report with analytics team for Sr Management.

Monitoring overall supply chain operations to ensure supply chain-related shrinkage is minimized.

Ensuring interaction with local functions (Commercial, OPS, Inventory Control) to optimize the country supply chain.

Monitoring and managing the DC management , Transport and Traffic costs against the budget.

Establish and ensure compliance about processes and Operations in Warehouse.

Monitor daily and weekly DC KPIs and share with Local country head and drive the improvement in operations.

What Did We Order?

You have at least 10+ years hands-on experience in End to End supply chain, Warehousing, Logistics, Demand Planning, Inventory Management & System implementations.

You come with an experience in retail groceries, ideally.

Analytical skills, big data manipulation + advanced ease with excel.

You have experience in forecasting models and supplier scheduling.

You have experience in setting up a warehouse and implementation of a warehouse management system.

You are very detail-oriented, structured and know how to prioritize ,you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved.

You are able to interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.

You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job.

You have excellent analytical and communication skills, and always like to be hands-on with several tools.
