- Ensure the overall accuracy and on-time delivery of all of the company’s data and reporting activities.
- Maintain, support, and constantly look to improve the existing business processes.
- Constantly look for ways to enrich the quality and value of the data available to Al Futtaim Finance by using advanced analytical tools and techniques.
- Develop the Business Solutions brand by delivering a consistent look and feel to all of the teams outputs.
What you will do:
- Ensuring that any data errors are handled, notified and corrected in the most efficient way.
- Ensure that any data updates that run through the online day do not affect the availability of reports and/or the ability to extract accurate data.
- Be prepared to provide out of hours support to minimize the impact of any data issues that may be experienced throughout the night.
- Hold periodic meetings with the other Al Futtaim Finance teams to ensure that the team are offering the best and most suitable support possible.
- Maintain the team’s standard approach, design and coding standards documentation.
- Manage the development of new and changes to existing processes and ensure that the code complies with the standards in place at the time.
- Develop any training materials that are required to support the Al Futtaim Business Solutions users.
- Produce periodic reports that:
- Detail all new and enhancements to existing processes that have been delivered.
- Show the usage of key Tableau reports.
- Report the number of errors and resultant downtime due to any issues in the overnight batch processing.
- Monitor the efficiency of the overnight batch processing.
- Identify and tasks that are taking longer to complete.
Required Experience and Skills to be successful:
- 10+ yrs experience in MIS reporting and Toolsets.
- A proven problem solver with the ability to think outside of the box.
- Previous experience in SQL is an advantage
- Familiar with Tableau
- Have significant experience in a similar role.
