Sr. Hydraulic Sales Engineer

Job Description

The Hydraulic Sales & Application Engineer will be responsible for developing and expanding business opportunities in the Oil & Gas sector across Qatar. This role involves providing technical sales support and ensuring customer satisfaction from initial inquiry through to delivery and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on hydraulic systems expertise, strong commercial acumen, and a solid network within the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Sales & Business Development



Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in the Oil & Gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors. Manage existing client accounts and develop long-term business relationships. Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities.

2. Technical Applications & Support



Analyze client requirements and propose suitable hydraulic system solutions (power units, cylinders, valves, manifolds, filtration systems, etc.). Provide technical assistance during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Liaise with the workshop and service teams to ensure correct product configuration and timely delivery.

3. Customer Relationship Management



Serve as the main technical liaison between the company and key clients. Conduct site visits and technical presentations to demonstrate system capabilities and performance. Handle client feedback, resolve technical issues, and ensure post-sale support.

4. Coordination & Reporting



Collaborate closely with internal departments (procurement, engineering, and service). Prepare periodic sales forecasts, activity reports, and market intelligence summaries. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:



Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering (Minimum) Minimum

10-15 years of experience

in hydraulic systems sales, design, or service--preferably in

Oil & Gas

or

industrial applications

. Strong understanding of hydraulic circuits, power units, valves, pumps, cylinders, and related components. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing key accounts. Familiarity with hydraulic brands such as Parker, Bosch Rexroth, Eaton, or similar. Experience working with EPC contractors, drilling companies, or service providers in the Gulf region is a strong advantage.

Pay: QAR11,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
