Our client is one of the key players in the beverage industry andone of the largest franchisees in the world of beverages. They are looking for a Finance Manager for their team in Dubai.

Reporting Structure

Manager Head of Finance International Business / CFO

Qualification & Experience

Manufacturing experience (having handled plant finance) is important
Candidates from food FMCG, retail, beverages, etc would be preferred.
12 -14 years of similar experience
CA (Mandatory) - Preference for candidates who have cleared CA on the 1st attempt
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Should have worked in a large-sized organization
Candidates who have experience withpurchase/planning/SCM would sure be an added advantage
Candidate should be comfortable with overseas travel every month (Africa, to be very precise)
Skillset

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Process and deadline-driven mindset with a keen eye for detail.
Manage SAP system-related changes to ensure compliance of invoice formats and accounting processes.
Working with BIG 4 would be an added advantage.
Thorough understanding of the UAEprevailing Taxation system.
Responsibilities

Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions of (UAE).
Preparation of monthly financial reports covering balance sheet, profit and loss, internal management reports and cashflow statements.
Spearhead VAT initiatives and execute scheduled quarterly VAT Filings.
Work with various vendors and 3rd party consultants to optimize operations and improve processes
Managing and overseeing the companys financial systems.
Providing sound financial support and insights in order to make critical business decisions.
Liaison with external Auditors, Bank Managers and Tax specialists
Ensure strict compliance prevailing laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance of IFRS for revenue booking, cost and expenses.
Ensure application of appropriate internal controls, compliance and financial processes
Co-coordination and execution of the budgets, plans and forecasts
Extensive stakeholder management across the business
Be an integral part of the risk management and fraud prevention directive, advising on financial implications where relevant.
