Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the operation, maintenance, and repair of all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components.
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of all building systems.
Managing and coordinating with contractors for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, ensuring quality and timely completion of work.
Developing and managing budgets for maintenance and repairs, controlling costs and identifying areas for potential savings.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Developing and implementing emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fire, power outages, or other emergencies.
Coordinating with other departments, such as security and Projects, to ensure smooth building operations.
Providing regular reports on building performance, maintenance activities, and budget status.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to other team members and stakeholders.
Implementing and monitoring sustainable practices to reduce energy consumption and promote environmental responsibility.
Managing small-scale projects related to building maintenance and upgrades.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field).
Minimum of 8-10+ years of experience in facilities management, with experience in high-rise buildings.
Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and relevant regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is often desirable.
Experience with FM of high-rise building, construction and handover is a plus.
