We are seeking an experienced

Senior Piping Engineer

for a

04 months ( Extendable)

Oil & Gas assignment in Qatar with our client a leading multinational engineering company. The successful candidate will serve as the senior point of contact for all piping discipline activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, technical accuracy, and compliance with international standards. This short-term role is ideal for a professional with proven offshore project experience and the ability to lead complex piping engineering scopes independently.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the senior focal point for all piping discipline activities across assigned projects. Supervise, guide, and coordinate a team of piping engineers and designers in project execution. Perform and review stress analysis using

CAESAR II

(minimum 5 years' experience required). Prepare engineered calculations, piping isometrics, arrangement drawings, support drawings, and related deliverables within 2D/3D model environments. Review and approve design calculations, drawings, specifications, schedules, and MTOs to ensure compliance with project objectives. Prepare and approve procurement-related documents including MRs, TBEs, vendor recommendations, and drawing reviews. Ensure deliverables adhere to QatarEnergy, Shell DEP, and relevant international codes and standards. Provide technical input during construction and commissioning phases (experience preferred).

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

from an accredited university.

10-15 years of relevant experience

in FEED and detailed engineering of oil & gas facilities, including offshore projects. At least

5 years of experience in brownfield offshore modifications

. Minimum

5 years of stress analysis experience

using

CAESAR II

. At least

5 years of experience as a Senior Discipline Engineer

. Strong knowledge of industry practices, tools, and standards (QatarEnergy / Shell DEP). Experience in site construction and commissioning is an advantage.
