Job Summary

Provide operational and engineering support to enhance drilling performance by monitoring,analyzing and optimizing various activities during well construction in order to achieve Operational Excellence.
Engage with Sr. Drilling Engineers in well planning and drilling performance discussions to highlight opportunities and identify risks.
Regular rig visits and interaction with field personnel to understand challenges and optimization opportunities.
Develop and monitor key drilling performance indicators.

Minimum Education Level Required

Bachelor\'s Degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.

Certificates: IWCF Level 4

Experience

The minimum years of experience required 12-15 years of experience in drilling, completion and workover operations out of which minimum 5 years should be working on offshore rigs.
Experience should include work in highly deviated exploratory and development wells in sandstone reservoirs. Experience as performance engineer and in real time operation monitoring will be preferred. Strong analytical skills and independent personality, who is questioning the status quo, is able think out of the box.

Some delegation of responsibility, some independence of routine matters.
Incumbents exercise some control over both the technical and administrative aspects of work. Objectives may be set for the position, but the incumbent often works independently.

Work is analytic, no standardized, requiring independent judgment to identify, select and apply the most appropriate course of action among available options.
