Sr Cybersecurity Analyst/engineer

Job Description
The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will develop and maintain policies and procedures regarding all aspects of information security in accordance with the NIST Framework and will be responsible to implement and administer processes and systems in compliance with the Framework. The Analyst will also serve as a system administrator and actively contribute to the planning, design, engineering, implementation, monitoring, repair and administration of the health system\xe2\x80\x99s network systems technology infrastructure. Additionally, the Analyst is responsible to provide technical leadership and guidance to other members of the MIS department generally and particularly with relation to cybersecurity. Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and administer a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program and security management framework
- Build cybersecurity control systems and administer the environment utilizing those systems
- Evaluate and/or recommend purchases and configurations of computers, network hardware, peripheral equipment, and Operating System software.
- Advise and assist in implementing network based technology solutions such as servers, routers, switches, firewalls, monitoring systems, etc.
- Advise and assist in administering systems, including backups, manage AD, e-mail systems including e-mail web server, and internet services.
- Initiate actively conduct, lead IT team members and vendors and in security investigations.
- Document all reported and identified security incidents and investigations.
- Advise and assist in managing the health system\xe2\x80\x99s telecommunications network services, telephone, and other electronic communication device systems.
- Serve as senior escalation point investigating user and system problems, identify root cause, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions.
- Establish and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for the server environment.
- Plan and implement network security, including applying cryptography to network applications, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrity, and adding and deleting users.
- Oversee the backups on a daily basis.
- Recommend and coordinate the purchase and provisioning of security technology and services.
- Assist users and MIS staff with security related technical problems.
- Evaluate new technology solutions.
- Organize and direct the system administration staff to accomplish required activities in an efficient and effective manner.
- Maintain knowledge of security regulatory requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of developments in security technology developments.
- Create, revise and update department programs, policies and procedures as needed, with the approval of department head.
- Actively participate in and contribute to the Change Management process with emphasis on security considerations.
- Participate in directing and managing system patching programs.
- Investigate, recommend and install enhancements and operating procedures that optimize system security.
- Manage projects according to agreed upon budgets and schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 4-5 years Cybersecurity required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science major preferred
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
