Description

We are seeking a Senior Manager to join our SOC Advisory practice and support our Managed Security Services operations in strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities. The Senior Manager is responsible for planning and executing SOC advisory maturity assessments, SOC design and implementation for IT and OT visibility threats for our rapidly expanding client portfolio. As such, the Senior Manager is charged with assisting in various facets of the core business including, but not limited to, Security Operations Centre CMMI assessment, SOC target operating model design and roadmap development for Security Operations, cyber security asset implementation through SEIM, SOAR and technical assets tooling. In this role, you will be:

  • While serving as a Project Lead or Task Lead, oversee and direct work of staff and junior level consultants who are assigned to the project activity
  • Proactively identify and apply opportunities for continuous process improvement, including application of industry best practices and methodology/reporting process automation in assigned tasks
  • Provide relevant cybersecurity and IT security subject matter advice, findings, and recommendations to the RFS project lead and end customers for technical cybersecurity issues
  • Assess the present maturity of clients cyber security operations and product security programs in relation to best practices for governance, strategy, process, architecture, and metrics.
  • Conduct cybersecurity program maturity evaluations across various domain, and subdomains security areas to determine the client's present state maturity and suggested future state.
  • Draft secure product configuration standards for the installation, operation and decline of customer-specific, customer-friendly IOT machines and services.
  • Coordinate and draft cybersecurity operations baselines, Target models, Gap Assessments and/or Roadmaps.
  • Developing creative, logical solutions and assisting in the presentation of findings and recommendations to clients
  • Performing assignments both autonomously and as part of a team
  • Performing risk assessments in regards to various technology / compliance standards
  • Assisting with cybersecurity and technology assessment projects
  • Meeting deadlines and proactively communicating with project team members
  • Interacting with clients on a regular basis for various process and technology related projects
  • Create and establish rapport with clients and stakeholders.
To bring your dream to life, youll need:
  • Minumum 10 years expierence in the current or related field of Cyber Security.
  • Focused experience leading SOC audits (SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for Cybersecurity)Led external audits, walkthroughs and controls testing for SOC engagements (Must Have)
  • Expirence & Exposure from SOC (II) or above in Security Operations enviroment. (Must Have)
  • System administration (Preffered)
  • Network security (Preffered)
  • Information security policies (Preffered)
  • Network protocols (Preffered)
  • Routers, hubs, and switches (Preffered)
  • Incident Response Frameworks (Preffered)
  • NIST Cybersecurity Framework (Must Have)
  • End-Point-Detection Technologies (Preffered)
  • Various Common Maturity Models (Must Have)
  • Presentations to BU Execs and/or Client level (Must Have)
  • Able to share knowledge with and coach other team members.
  • Responsible for handling of sensitive data/confidential data
  • Experience in Cyber Security / SOC Manager & Advisory / Managed Security Services (Must Have)
  • Strong customer service, project management, and quality control skills. (Must Have)
  • Good resource planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership and customer service skills.
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
  • Relevant Leadership Skills & Development training
Education / Qualifications: (either or any 2 or 3 of the ffg.)
  • A Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science / Engineering or similar field.
