Job Summary (List Format) Senior Collaboration & Security Engineer
- Design, implement, and maintain Cisco Collaboration solutions (CUCM, Webex, Unity, IM&P, Expressway, UCCX, voice gateways, etc.).
- Configure and manage dial plans, SIP trunks, route patterns, number translations, and calling search spaces.
- Support and troubleshoot Cisco endpoints including IP Phones, ATA, and Webex devices.
- Integrate PSTN connectivity via local gateways, cloud connect, or SIP trunks.
- Perform upgrades, migrations (on-prem to cloud), and system expansions for collaboration systems.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to call quality, latency, jitter, packet loss, and media performance.
- Implement and manage Cisco security solutions (Firepower, ASA, Fortigate, SecureX, Umbrella, ISE, Duo).
- Ensure secure collaboration by encrypting voice traffic (SRTP), configuring SIP TLS, and securing SIP trunks and WebRTC.
- Configure firewalls, NAT, ACLs, and segmentation for voice/video traffic security.
- Monitor threats and respond to security incidents impacting collaboration services.
- Utilize technical expertise in voice protocols (SIP, H.323, SRTP), networking (routing, switching, QoS, VLANs), and system administration (VMware, Windows/Linux).
- Leverage monitoring tools (RTMT, Wireshark, SolarWinds) for proactive system management.
- Preferred scripting skills (Bash/Python) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Maintain documentation and provide effective communication with stakeholders.
- Provide on-call support and work in shifts as required.
- Minimum 5 7 years of hands-on experience with Cisco Collaboration and Security technologies.
- Relevant certifications preferred: CCIE Collaboration, CCNP Security, Cisco Webex Calling Specialization.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills; able to work under pressure.
