Cloud computing continues to allow us to modernize and consolidate IT infrastructure, automate workloads, and pursue next-generation innovation. To continue this transformation, we're seeking an experienced Hybrid cloud engineer (Public/Private) with expertise in the strategy, design, development, and implementation of large-scale projects in the cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in cloud-based tech, with a firm grasp of emerging technologies, platforms, and applications, and ability to customize them to help our business become more secure and efficient.

Objectives of this Role

• Work with our different IT teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding cloud application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
• Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to teams to build cloud competencies.
• Ensure infrastructure performance, uptime, and scale, maintaining high standards
• Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy Hybrid Cloud (Public/Private) application infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures
• Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required
• Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity
• Translate the cloud strategy and architecture into a highly available and secure technical implementation in accordance with best practices
• Continuously monitor and optimize the cloud implementation for technical and cost efficiencies
• Continuously support and collaborate with other teams and projects as needed
• Implementing Hybrid IT infrastructure by integrating different cloud services with back-end, traditional data center services
• Migrating applications to public cloud services in a rehosting (lift and shift) approach or in a refactoring approach for efficiency, agility and disaster recovery (DR)
• Collaborating with developers and owning the "Ops" part of DevOps to ensure that cloud-native workloads are deployed according to IT best practices for security, governance, identity and access management, and monitoring

Skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
• 3+ years of experience in architecting, designing, developing, and implementing Public cloud solutions on Azure (Must) and AWS platforms (Optional)
• 5+ years of IT experience in managing IT infrastructure (architecting, designing, implementing and day-to-day operations)
• In-depth knowledge of below technologies on Public Cloud :-
