Job Description

The senior applications engineer leads WBC technologies by managing customers' expectations. Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of product line technology and portfolio. He is s responsible for making key decisions related to all areas of technical operation and managing the teams developing and promoting new technologies. He is in charge of creating technical proposals for the customers and run the required T&D simulations with the software to meet customer expectations. Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with Weatherford's, and where appropriate Clients', Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and Safety Management Systems ensuring service delivery standards are being met and maintained. Personal commitment to HSE.

Plan and implement tool design in conjunction with engineering and machine shop for a specific application required by customers.

This role ensures flawless execution by leading a team focused on technical job planning, job optimization, and on-demand support

Provide technical support for both Weatherford PL Operation teams and Customers and be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product line.

Provide leadership to the organization by inspiring commitment and engagement through setting a clear vision and direction to accomplish WBC strategic focus area of Engineered solutions

Create and execute product line strategy and goals to ensure compliance with policies and customer expectations by building efficient relationships with internal and external customers to provide a high level of operational efficiency Implementing and measuring KPIs associated with the product line to understand customer and market demands by Maximizing product line service and new technology portfolios

Conduct technical training when required for the product line employees and assess competencies for the sustained technical ability of field supervisors and R&M to meet customers' standards as well as readiness review of personnel, equipment, and facilities to deliver business plans and customer expectations and escalate to the global team as necessary. Oversee PL training and competence strategy for Geo-Zone consistent with Company's Global processes and goals. Support with competency assessment and quality checks. Mentor and develop applications engineers and next-generation local content Regular customer headquarters visit to develop a strong relationship and engagement to promote product line technologies and portfolio Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified safely and efficiently to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.

Additional Local Duties: Manage all trial tests and cataloging for New Technologies by working closely with the Engineering Global team and Drilling Technical Department. Monitor and follow up implementation on rig site. Participate in Technology Events to promote New Technologies and product line portfolios. Lead high-profile jobs and work with customers and operations to ensure flawless execution. Promote new solutions for customer requirements by the introduction of new or existing technologies globally. Perform forecast analysis of WBC Products and KPI trend. Participate as SME for all NPT Incidents by providing technical support for operation and equipment involved. Any other report that PL Manager instructs to do with the instruction provided. Qualifications

Essential Bachelor's degree in engineering Preferred Internationally recognized Degree Qualifications in Mechanical, Electronic, Petroleum engineering or relevant discipline.

Required Experience: Minimum of 8 years of direct experience within oilfield operations. Minimum of 8 years related working experience in Product Line. Minimum of 3 years with supervisory/management responsibilities. Preferred 10+ years related working experience in PL with 5+ years in a senior supervisory role. Field proven experience in wellbore cleaning, interventions, drilling, workover

Additional Requirements Essential The role will require periodic travel to fulfill the role requirements. This travel may be planned or because of an unplanned event requiring urgent travel. In-depth knowledge of PL equipment and services. Understanding of budgetary process and fiscal responsibility requirements Advanced computer and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Must be able to work closely and communicate interactively with all levels of employees with Weatherford, supply chain, sub-contractor, and client base. Preferred Current and clean local Driving Licence Travel required to different customer headquarters Rig visits may be required

Required Skills: English Language: Has fully operational command of the language (read, write, and verbal): appropriate, accurate, and fluent with complete understanding. Comprehensive knowledge and operational understanding of PL Services and Equipment. Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, and willingness to help. Demonstrate solid experience in Completions & Wellbore Intervention Mechanical aptitude and basic understanding of Hydraulic and mechanical/electronic systems Good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS SharePoint programs as a minimum. Ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures, priorities, or work environments. Good presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues. Show analytical and collaboration skills to lead decision-making processes in a team environment Team worker, fast learner, results-oriented, proactive and independent with strong interpersonal skills Must be a good team leader with effective leadership and assertiveness skills, and have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Have thorough knowledge and experience in whipstocks, fishing, milling, workover, completions, well abandonment, drilling tools, etc Show a clear understanding of the business, customers, and competitors to innovate value for the customers. Flexible to accommodate operational requirements. Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised Resilient, able to cope in a difficult and harsh working environment Ability to work in a highly safety-sensitive environment and comply with both Company and Client safety standards Preferred Knowledge-related product line software such as, Jar Placement, Torque & Drag, Seismic. Able to navigate and use of Salesforce
