Informa Markets - Healthcare is paving the way by combining its leading live, in-person events with complementing smart events within the healthcare and medical laboratory sectors.
We are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to grow and expand sponsorship sales for our flagship events across the world, such as Arab Health, Medlab Middle East and Global Health. The Account Manager will oversee the customer relationship, determining customers\' needs-what they\'re looking to achieve short-term and long-term plus ensuring Informa Markets delivers and exceeds the customer expectations.
The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of the sponsorship and digital landscape expertise within the exhibitions industry. We are looking for a motivated team player that will work closely with the show teams to maximize the sponsorship revenue from our clients.

Achievement of sales revenue targets within timelines
Number of effective calls and client meetings made per week
Management of sales pipeline
Timely & accurate reporting of sales results and activities
Reporting accurate revenue and costs forecasting and performance metrics to key internal and external stakeholders, highlighting risks and opportunities
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Sales - Account Management & New Business
Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships with plans to grow and expand the current account
Full customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit
Strive to meet your customer needs and be able to create tailor-made sponsorship packages
Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
Coordinate with colleagues working on the same account to ensure consistent service
New business development strategy to grow and expand sales from new clients through market research, telephone contact, industry networking and clients\' meetings
Accurately positioning Informa Markets\' products, solutions, and services as a solution for market and business challenges that meet the customer\'s needs
Management and Reporting
Keep customer information/records up to date such as interactions, transactions, account plans, and records on the Informa CRM system
Sales/Revenue/Costs management through day-to-day account handling
Liaise with colleagues to keep your knowledge of new and existing products, services, and solutions up to date. Share news and insight with all internal colleagues
Liaise with other departments for accurate costs forecasting
Effective communication with other internal departments including operations, marketing, finance to maximise client experience
Monitor the debt reports and assist the finance team with revenue collection
Proactively develop yourself and keep abreast of the changing landscape
Keep up to date with current market conditions and competitors\' products
Function as an integral part of overall show management effort in performing additional duties as require
Qualifications

Proven industry experience within exhibition and sponsorship sales environment
Highly target driven
Demonstrable experience/track record as a top-performing individual contributor in a solution- based B2B environment
Being a team player within a sales team beyond an individual\'s needs
Have an established network of customers in one or more sectors and a proven track record in new business
Computer literate and proficient in the use of commonly used business software
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
