Job Description
Key Performance Areas ( Core, essential responsibilities / outputs of the position (KPA\'s) The position will be accountable to achieve the following objectives:
- Roaming Service Excellence
- Monitor and plan test set ups on an ongoing basis
- Provide a prioritization list of roaming partners and Client Operator ready to proceed with IREG testing to the Technology team.
- Responsibility to keep track of Client Operator footprint and focus on their priorities.
- Be the single point contact for test prioritization for Client Operators
- Manage the commercial launch of all roaming services after successful roaming testing.
- Ensure the contractual execution of the CLL.
- Ensure the archiving of the CLL.
- Maintain an accurate view of the complete roaming services footprint for MTN Group.
- Responsible for managing the SIM Multiplexer (SIMMUX) located in the Dubai office.
- Responsible for Client Operator and Roaming partners SIM cards.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business or Telecommunications
- English: verbal and written proficiency
- 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an MNO roaming operations
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Broad-based knowledge of the mobile telecoms industry within GSMA roaming.
- Experience managing, implementing, and supporting multiple service launches
- Experience with SS7, GPRS, IPX tracing.
- Experience with technical troubleshooting of International Roaming.
- Strong planning and coordination management skills
- Excellent mathematical and statistical abilities
- Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written)
- Intermediate skills with MS Office; i.e. Word, Excel, PPT, and SharePoint
- Technical and commercial knowledge of international Roaming environment
- Able to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment
- A working knowledge of business practices
- Knowledge of risk management (a risk taker who carefully considers risk/reward) and business development
- Ability to identify key issues in a situation and to think creatively and strategically in facing internal and external challenges
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements of business and staff members
