What Does a Specialist Obstetrics & Gynecology Do?
As a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynecology at our Al Qusais clinic, you will diagnose, treat, and manage conditions related to women\'s health. You will be working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and superior outcomes for patients across outpatient, diagnostic, and therapeutic services.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Deliver expert clinical services across the full range of obstetric and gynecological care
- Manage complex cases independently with a focus on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including ultrasound, X-ray, and lab results for comprehensive assessments
- Collaborate with internal medical specialists, nurses, and support staff in a multidisciplinary environment
- Stay up to date with current research and attend conferences for continued medical education
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with DHA and HealthHub protocols
- Provide care in both full-time and flexible working arrangements based on clinic needs
What Skills Are Needed for a Specialist Obstetrician & Gynecologist in Dubai?
Education:
- MBBS or MBChB from an accredited institution
- Completion of specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynecology recognized by DHA, MOH, or HAAD
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant specialist-level experience
- Proven competence in managing a broad range of OB-GYN conditions
Certifications:
- Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support
- Valid DHA license or eligibility preferred
Skills:
- Excellent diagnostic and surgical skills in obstetrics and gynecology
- Strong communication and empathy when dealing with patients
- Ability to work within a team and uphold clinical best practices
- Multilingual communication is a plus
