Specialist Gastroenterologist (medical)

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Gastroenterologist (Medical) to join a leading hospital in Oman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and managing disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, liver, and pancreas through non-surgical medical interventions. Key Responsibilities: . Conduct outpatient and inpatient consultations for gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary disorders . Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, and capsule endoscopy . Interpret imaging and laboratory results to guide treatment plans . Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated patient care . Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital documentation standards . Participate in clinical audits, CME activities, and quality improvement initiatives . Educate patients and families on disease prevention and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications & Requirements: . MBBS + MD/DNB in General Medicine + DM/DNB in Gastroenterology (Medical) . Valid Indian medical registration; Oman licensing eligibility preferred . Minimum 3 years of post-specialization clinical experience . Strong diagnostic acumen and procedural skills in medical gastroenterology . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Willingness to relocate and adapt to multicultural healthcare settings
