Job Summary A reputed healthcare group in Oman is seeking a highly skilled Medical Gastroenterologist to join its multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and managing digestive system disorders, performing endoscopic procedures, and delivering patient-centered care in a modern clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities - Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including liver, pancreatic, and bowel disorders - Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and ERCP - Conduct patient consultations and follow-up care - Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, and other specialists for integrated treatment plans - Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold patient safety standards - Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous medical education
Qualifications & Experience - Medical degree (MD/DM or DNB) with specialization in Gastroenterology - Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience - Cleared Prometric exam and DataFlow verification preferred - Strong proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy - Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
