Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Specialist Gastroenterologist

to join our medical team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, perform endoscopic procedures, and provide high-quality patient care in accordance with international clinical standards and UAE regulatory guidelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Care

Diagnose and manage digestive system disorders including GERD, IBS, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal cancers. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history and diagnostic findings. Provide both outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology care.

Procedures & Diagnostics

Perform endoscopic procedures including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, polypectomy, and related interventions. Interpret diagnostic test results such as imaging, biopsy, and laboratory findings. Ensure safe and effective delivery of clinical procedures.

Patient Management

Offer pre- and post-procedure counseling and education to patients and their families. Work collaboratively with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists for comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records as per facility protocols.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure compliance with DHA licensing standards and healthcare regulations. Adhere to clinical quality guidelines and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Support evidence-based medical practices and maintain updated knowledge of gastroenterology advancements.

Qualifications & Requirements

MBBS degree with specialization in Gastroenterology (MD / DM / Board Certification). Valid

DHA license or eligibility

as Specialist Gastroenterologist. Minimum

3-5 years of post-specialization experience

(UAE/GCC experience preferred). Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Strong clinical expertise, patient-centered approach, and excellent communication skills.
