Job Description
We are hiring a Specialist Engineer, Procurement with experience in the oil and gas industry to to manage and optimize the procurement processes for our oil and gas operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply chain management within the oil and gas industry
Key Responsibilities:
Manage procurement activities for materials, equipment, and services required for oil and gas projects. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services. Develop and manage procurement strategies, ensuring compliance with project timelines and budgets. Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers and service providers. Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the procurement process.
Qualification Required.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field. Minimum 15+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry in the similar role. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and supply chain management. Previous experience in the ADNOC project on a PMC role is a must Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
