Specialist Endocrinologist
Position Title: Specialist Endocrinologist
Report To: Medical Director / Head of Department
Location: Seha Clinics - Abu Dhabi & Al Ain
Job Purpose:
To diagnose, manage, and treat a wide spectrum of endocrine disorders and hormonal imbalances. The endocrinologist will play a key role in managing chronic diseases like diabetes and thyroid disorders, providing expert care to improve patients' long-term health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid diseases, metabolic disorders, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary issues.
• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans for patients.
• Manage insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring systems.
• Interpret complex laboratory results and diagnostic tests (e.g., thyroid scans, DEXA scans).
• Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle, and nutrition.
• Work closely with Dietitians, Diabetes Educators, and other specialists to provide holistic care.
• Manage hormonal imbalances related to reproduction and menopause.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure continuity of care.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in endocrinology and diabetes care.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or equivalent in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
• Valid DOH License or DOH Exam Passer.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Specialist Endocrinologist.
• Strong experience in managing a high volume of diabetic patients.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
