Detail-oriented and results-driven accounting professional responsible for executing core financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance efforts.
The Accounts Specialist ensures timely and precise handling of accounting transactions while contributing to the efficiency and integrity of the organization's financial processes

Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Maintain accurate and timely financial records and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Conduct routine reconciliations (bank, ledger, and other accounts) to ensure data integrity.
Investigate and help resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and relevant regulatory standards.
Participate in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and support.
Analyze financial data to support reporting and provide insights when required.
Assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization within the accounting function.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree - Finance, Accounting, or related fields. Master's degree will be an advantage
3+ years of experience in relevant field, Healthcare experience in UAE will be an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to think critically and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
