Coordinate System Management: - Verify and standardize coordinate systems for spatial datasets. - Ensure proper alignment and consistency in spatial references. 5. Metadata Creation and Management: - Generate and maintain metadata for geospatial datasets, documenting relevant information. - Ensure that metadata adheres to industry standards and best practices. 6. Collaboration with Data Providers: - Collaborate with external data providers to acquire and integrate geospatial datasets. - Establish and maintain positive relationships with data contributors. 7. Custom Attribute Management: - Manage and update custom attributes associated with spatial features. - Ensure that attribute data aligns with project requirements and standards. 8. Qualifications: - Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Spatial Data Editor or in a similar role. - Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial database management. - Familiarity with coordinate systems, spatial references, and metadata standards. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration abilities. - Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python) is a plus.
