Job Description

The Spare Parts Supervisor will oversee the spare parts operations across all aftersales brands at Al Shaali Moto. This role involves managing inventory, procurement, vendor relationships, parts sales, coordination with service/workshop teams, and ensuring high parts availability to meet customer and workshop demands.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the spare parts department: receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch of parts. Maintain accurate inventory levels; conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts. Forecast demand and initiate purchase orders in coordination with procurement; negotiate favorable terms with suppliers. Ensure quality control: inspect incoming parts for compliance and resolve defective/damaged part issues. Coordinate with service advisors, workshop teams, and sales to fulfil parts needs swiftly. Monitor stock turnover, identify slow-moving/obsolete items and propose action plans. Manage spare parts pricing in accordance with company policies; ensure gross margin targets are met. Supervise, train, and mentor parts staff; schedule workload. Generate regular reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on inventory, sales, stock discrepancies, order fulfillment. Maintain parts catalogues / Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC) and system records (ERP / parts management software). Ensure compliance with OEM or brand standards; ensure parts authenticity. Handle customer inquiries & complaints related to parts availability, quality, delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's or Diploma in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field.

Minimum 5-8 years

experience in automotive spare parts operations; at least 2 years in a supervisory role. (UAE experience preferred) Strong knowledge of spare parts for multiple vehicle brands. Proficiency in inventory / parts management systems (SAP or equivalent). Good negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills (English; Arabic is a plus). Valid UAE driver's license.
