We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while supporting the Executive Chef in daily operations.

Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, recipe development, and kitchen management Lead and inspire the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and health standards Oversee food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating to maintain consistency Manage inventory, control costs, and minimize waste while maintaining quality Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their culinary skills Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery Participate in menu tastings and special events as required Step in for the Executive Chef when necessary, assuming full kitchen leadership


Qualifications

Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant setting Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sous chef or similar leadership role Demonstrated passion and creativity for food, ingredients, and flavors Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, health, and safety standards Proficiency in menu planning, recipe development, and cost control Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational and time management skills Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays * Familiarity with Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus
