Supervise daily operations of the Main Kitchen, ensuring food is prepared and presented according to Jumeirah's quality standards
Assist in menu development, recipe testing, and product specification writing for consistent production and cost control
Monitor staff performance, manage scheduling, absenteeism, and team motivation while overseeing rostering and labor efficiency
Ensure hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards are upheld across the kitchen
Collaborate with Chief Steward to maintain equipment and stewarding operations
Deliver staff training and contribute to team development while preparing food during peak service times
Job Requirements
UAE National with valid Family Book as per government requirements
At least two years of experience in a Sous Chef role at a 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant
Diploma in Catering or equivalent; additional certifications in Health & Safety are preferred
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Opera PMS (Cloud), and HotSoS systems
