Job Summary
Our client, a Government Institution is looking forward to recruit for the position of "Security Engineer" in Abu Dhabi.
Purpose:
Provides access control, monitoring, analysis of MI network and applications environments for risks and threats. This position ensures that network and security systems are supported, engineered and aligned with and operated according to MI requirements, security policies, standards and industry best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide maintenance and support services for MI network and security infrastructure which includes the following:

• Juniper Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, VPN and related monitoring and management tools.
• Cisco ASA and ISE and related monitoring and and management tools.
• CISCO network equipment used at the core, distribution or access layers.
• Coordinate with MI IT Service Desk, Infrastructure and Information Security Office teams with regards to network and security infrastructure operations and support.
• Log cases and follow up with Juniper.
• Arrange for hardware replacement, coordinate to dispatch failed components and collect & replace new parts.
• Monitors system performance and logs. Help to monitor and assess network vulnerabilities and intrusions.
• Patches and feature releases and upgrades.
• Move, Adds, Changes and Deletes in configuration and equipment as per MI requests and change control procedures.
• Documents network and security issues and resolution.
• Implementing security measures to ensure that the network is safe from unauthorized intrusions.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in network architectures and topologies.
• Experience in supporting network security in a mission-critical enterprise infrastructure environment.
• Extensive experience with Juniper and Cisco mainstream technologies that includes Juniper IDP, SRX, Cisco ASA, IDP, End Point Security (ISE), Cisco Nexus switches and related management tools.
• Expert knowledge of network security at different levels that include network, virtualization, Operating system, file/directory and user account levels.
