About the role

Primary Purpose of Job: To carry out duties under the functional guidance of the chief architect relating to the system; designing, developing, managing, and assess current digital technology maturity, identify gaps and shape a comprehensive, end-to-end digital blueprint and technology roadmap. Able to bring to extensive knowledge of architectural patterns, technology components, vendor solutions and emerging technology trends on digital solution development in the smart services domain. Expertise in architecting digital and multi-channel technology solutions, covering all layers of the technology stack, from presentation through to physical infrastructure; Key Relationships: Chief Architect, Project Director, Technical consultants, System Element Architects Key Responsibilities: Lead delivery of system design and sub-system specification Lead preparation of the digital technology blueprint, supporting technical documentation and technology roadmap, as part of a large scale digital transformation project Lead technology activities, working with third-party vendors to identify the solution options for integration and digital transformation delivery; Act as a technical design authority on digital transformation programmes, managing architectural changes, and maintaining adherence to the agreed digital blueprint; Play a leading role as a technology subject matter expert, and maintain a market network. Ability to manage subcontract engineering activities, engineering progress, schedule, costs Owns the System engineering process end - end Ability to confirm feasibility of technical solutions Capture and analyse customer needs Develop, analyse and trace stakeholder, prepare system and system element requirements Allocate requirements to sub systems Augment architectural principles (e.g. selection of methodologies, tools etc) Design and model operational concepts, analyse results of models Design and model functional and physical system architecture including interfaces, analyse results of models Report progress, costs, schedule of activities under his responsibility Assess risk and opportunities, continuously contribute to the project risk register Support strategy for integration, verification/validation, transition to use Contribute to design and development of logistic support solution Manage Engineering risk and opportunities for proposal & delivery projects Resolve engineering issues and risk for bids and projects,
