Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Solar Technician
to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, a strong understanding of solar components, and the ability to work safely on-site.Key Responsibilities
Install solar PV panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance checks Diagnose and repair faults in solar systems Conduct routine maintenance and inspections Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings Maintain work reports and service documentation Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients when required
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work (preferred) Basic knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV technology Ability to work at heights and outdoor job sites Understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with on-grid and off-grid systems Knowledge of batteries (lithium / lead-acid) Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
